Our office gets decimated by the sun every afternoon.

Jim came out for a quote and the next day Corey came in to install. They were both kind, personable, quick, professional.

Watching Jim measure and write things down and Corey carryout the plan effortlessly made it clear that their communication is down to a science. Corey answered my silly questions, we talked about local stuff, and he somehow made it feel like I had a friend in the office with me while I worked.

James Wall and his work partner Corey were both on time, friendly, considerate, friendly to interact with and truly professional. They take pride in their work and it is evident with the finished product. I was so impressed that I had them do a number of doors and windows, after they finished the 3 skylights in the Sunroom. I highly recommend them and will gladly show & tell my family, friends and neighbors. To top it off, I was even given a Lifetime Warranty on the Llumar Film product applied. It looks beautiful! We are very happy and pleased with their service, the excellent product and the value of the cooling comfort, plus freedom from the formally harsh glare we will now be able to enjoy through the filtered sun. I am even considering having some additional windows done, and they will be my only choice when I do. Thank you gentlemen for a job well done!

Need your windows tinted? Stop right where you are and hire Solar Solutions! I have a new construction home with a beautiful glass garage door. Turns out I’m way too messy to have a see through garage though ;;)) . I wanted it tinted so it was semi opaque, but was terrified the job wasn’t going to be done correctly and my door would lose its appeal. Thank goodness I had nothing to fear. Jim and his awesome co worker (I cant remember his name- sorry!) showed up and were both super friendly, funny, and knew *exactly* what they were doing. A few laughs and less than 2 hours later, they had the garage door perfectly tinted. NO bubbles/ imperfections- these guys are pros! Im soooooo happy with their work and will use them again in a heartbeat.read more

We had actually contacted another business about tinting the back windows of our home. They catch ALL of the afternoon sunlight and turn that side of the house into an oven. The other company came out, took some measurements and said they would email us a quote, We never heard from them. Not sure how people make money that way.

We turned into our subdivision last week behind Jim and is Solar Solutions van and stalked him through our neighborhood. After he finished the job he was scheduled to do, he came to hour house. He took some measurements, we picked a tint and he gave us a price right then and there. He scheduled us for today, showed up 5 min early and got to work. Our tint is now done, looks great and we are looking forward to the protection it will provide.

We received a quote from Solar Solutions after sending them pictures and measurements. On the day of the installation, they showed up and told us that they didn’t have a ladder tall enough to work on our home. They left and 2 days later sent us a revised quote increasing the cost by nearly $800 which represented more than a 58% increase from the quote. When I asked the reason they said they had to order and deliver a boom, which added $775. I actually offered to split the cost with them, despite the quote, and was told that they had misquoted the film and already lost half a day of wages because they showed up without ever looking at the property. They also admitted that my offer would more than cover their cost, but they still wouldn’t do the work because the small profit wasn’t a good business decision. After I declined the major price increase I actually went out and quoted local companies on renting a boom and found more than one at $500, $275 less than what they quoted me.

In my experience, good business decisions involve meeting your obligations. This company didn’t collect enough information, misquoted a job and then tried to charge me more for a boom to make up for their mistakes. Be very wary of working with them.read more

Jim and his assistant were the best! Very professional and personable. They work very clean and put everything back into place when finished. We had installed solar shades on all our family and kitchen windows recently but the glare was still blinding from 12-5 (all day!) and this film installation has resolved the problem! Now I can be in the family room and actually see the TV with the solar shades up during the daytime and it is not too dark (which I was afraid of). Jim told me that it would be just like wearing a good pair of sunglasses and it is! Now my backyard just looks clearer than ever from inside the house because there no glare! Initially, Jim came for the estimate and put up a sample of the film to see what percent of dark we would need to solve the problem. We decided to go one shade darker on upper windows than the lower ones. It is perfect! We should have done this a very long time ago!!! I highly recommend Jim for any of your window film needs…he truly knows his product and will find the best one for your needs. ?read more

From submitting a request online I got a callback almost right away, and got the job scheduled within a week. They showed up on time and did a great job with the install. We can really tell the difference in how much heat gets through the glass. It’s much cooler, but we can still keep the curtains open and enjoy the sunlight.read more

I wanted a solution to the harsh afternoon sun preventing us from opening the shutters in our two front rooms. Jim installed solar shield on all the windows that face that side. Wow. What a difference. Rooms stay cooler, give daytime privacy, and allow us to see outside and enjoy the sunshine without the glare and harmful rays. Solar Solutions is the company to trust when you need windows tinted. I own a financial firm and our office is mostly windows. Our AC bill was ridiculous, we couldn’t keep the building regulated, and the sun was so bright. We contacted 3 different companies for an estimate. I received a referral to Jim Walls with Solar Solutions from a building contractor project manager and so glad I asked! Scheduled with Jim for initial consultation and quote for my high rise east and south facing windows. Jim is a professional and is true to his word. They removed existing window film (at least 15 yrs old) and installed the latest version window tinting film on 11 large window panes throughout. The impact was immediate in terms of reduced sun glare and room temperature and an enhanced experience looking out to my city-scape and tree top views. I have added value to my property no doubt.
